The other day I heard Eli crying in the bathroom and he was calling, "Mommmmmy!" When I went to see why he was upset I found Rylan standing next to the bathroom door. Eli had locked himself in the bathroom to hide from his little 17 mo old brother. He said Rylan wanted to hit him. Rylan can be a bit of a bully. Poor Eli takes a lot from him. Rylan doesn't really care to be rough with Malaia but he definitely likes to hit and push Eli. Little does Eli know that he is a lot bigger than him :)

Sweet little girl

Malaia said the other day, "Mom, I want to live happily ever after."

Eli's hiding game

Every time we leave the room Eli decides that he needs to hide. For example, during a meal he will either lay down across his chair or hide under the table if Nic or I walks away for a moment. The other day we were getting ready to leave and I told Malaia and Eli to get in the van and when I came out in the garage they were no where to be found. They were not in their seats or for that matter they were not even in the van. Then I heard giggling and found the 2 of them underneath the van. And when they came out they were COVERED in black stuff. Nice work guys :) Bed time has to be the best. Eli hides EVERY time before his nap and before bed. God forbid otherwise. :) And he is always in the same place either under his horse or under his bed. And we can't just walk in and find him we have to say, "Hmmmmmm, where's Eli?" If we don't he reminds us that we haven't said it yet.

Halloween

Halloween was so much fun this year. We went to a Trunk or Treat party. Malaia got to dress up for her ballet class, she was SO excited to wear her snow white costume. Eli was Buzz Lightyear. He also dressed up for his gymnastics class. A little girl even asked for a picture with him. Ry was a baby bear. At every house Malaia made sure that she said, "Thank you", and she would say it over and over again until people would say "your  welcome". She thinks it's like a transaction or something. Silly girl. How do you explain to a 3 yr old that some people don't have manners :) Eli made sure that he let people know that he didn't like chocolate. And baby Ry carried his own little pumpkin and held it out for candy. He knew how it worked :) Halloween was a blast and I can't wait until next year! And wow do we have a lot of candy! Maybe a little too much?
